• Edit with high-quality files. With support for the RAW (NRW) format, the COOLPIX P950 gives you the ability to save images as uncompressed files and export them to your choice of post-processing or editing software.
• Effortlessly record videos with stereo sound in 4K/UHD at 30p or Full HD (1080p) at up to 60p. The uncompressed HDMI output allows the video to be displayed on an external monitor while it is being recorded. The built-in microphone connector allows you to use an external microphone for higher sound quality. Manual Movie Mode allows you to adjust key exposure settings while filming, making it ideal for changing light.

Star streaks and the sky at dawn

• The in-camera time-lapse feature is perfect for capturing skyscapes, star trails or flowers opening in a forest glade. You can record amazing time-lapse movies of approximately 10 seconds that play back at 25 or 30 frames per second. Scene modes automatically select the most appropriate shooting interval for a given subject.
• You can get sharp photos and videos even when shooting handheld at a long focal length or in low light. Nikon's Dual-Detection Optical Vibration Reduction (VR) lets you shoot at shutter speeds up to five stops slower. Active Vibration Reduction mode provides more stable images in the viewfinder and on the camera monitor, which is extremely useful in the field.
