The lightweight sports band is made of soft, breathable material. It has a Velcro closure that allows you to adjust it quickly and conveniently. The inner side of the double-layer nylon weave is covered with densely spaced loops that create a soft lining and wick away moisture. This weave contains 82% recycled yarn, partly from abandoned fishing nets.

This belt is carbon neutral. The sports band contains 45% recycled materials (measured by weight) and the electricity used to produce it is obtained from 100% clean sources. Additionally, at least 50% of Apple Watch's carbon-neutral products are shipped without the use of aircraft.
