The Garmin Instinct 2 is a tough GPS smartwatch and always throws itself into every experience. You can keep an eye on your fitness and always stay smartly connected. The robust smartwatch is waterproof up to 100 meters and is heat and shock resistant. The housing consists of a fiber-reinforced polymer. The display has been chemically enhanced and is made of scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass. It uses several global navigation satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS and Galileo) to enable better positioning in more difficult environments than using GPS alone. In addition, it helps with navigation thanks to ABC sensors - including an altimeter for altitude data, a barometer for monitoring the weather and a 3-axis electronic compass. And even in poor visibility, thanks to trackback routing, you can always find your way back to the starting point on the same route. Daily workout suggestions provide workout instructions that take both body stats and fitness level into account. The suggestions are based on current data on training load and training status. During training, or generally beyond the day and night, thanks to the Instinct 2 you receive data on the calculated heart rate and alarms if the heart rate is too high or too low during a rest phase. The battery lasts up to 28 days in smartwatch mode, or longer in one of the more economical modes. And with solar charging, you even get unlimited battery life in smartwatch mode. In the night vision mode of the Instinct 2 Solar Tactical Edition, you can reduce the illumination of the smartwatch so that you can also use night vision goggles. In stealth mode, you can hide your GPS data and also disable wireless connectivity to remain undetected. If your own security is at risk, you can delete the entire user memory with the push of a button with the kill switch function.
