HERO sensor
HERO is a revolutionary new optical sensor designed by the Logitech G department to provide best-in-class performance and up to 10 times more energy-saving (compared to the previous generation). The HERO sensor provides extremely accurate and consistent operation without smoothening, filtering or accelerating within a sensitivity range of 200 to 12,000 dpi. The G305 saves up to 5 profiles with up to 5 dpi levels in the built-in memory.

Thanks to accurate and careful design, the Logitech G team has created an advanced wireless solution that eliminates the basic problems related to delays, stability and connectivity. The result is LIGHTSPEED technology, a professional wireless solution that provides the performance of wired devices.

Very long battery life
The HERO sensor and LIGHTSPEED wireless communication technology provide exceptional performance so that you can play for months. Provides battery life of up to 250 hours on only one AA battery. You can customize it to last up to 9 months of normal use in run-time mode, which you can select in Logitech Gaming Software. It has been tested on the Logitech G240 Gaming Mouse Pad Logitech Gaming Software and the G305 mouse pointer will notify you when the battery level drops up to 15%.
