Carbon monoxide is a toxic gas that is produced during the combustion process and, when inhaled by humans, is easily absorbed into the bloodstream. A dangerous concentration of carbon monoxide can permanently damage the body, and in the worst case, it can even lead to death. The greatest threat exists in places with poorly functioning ventilation, where the amount of air needed for the combustion process is too small. Carbon monoxide can be generated in rooms equipped with heating devices, such as gas heaters, fireplaces, gas, oil and coal boilers, etc. Every year in Poland there are several thousand accidents related to carbon monoxide. The only effective way to protect against this threat is to use a certified carbon monoxide detector.

The FireAngel FA3313 carbon monoxide sensor is equipped with the latest electrochemical sensor, which was developed in the PACE-Sensor plant in Canada, belonging to the FireAngel concern. At the moment of the appearance of even a small amount of carbon monoxide, the detector will inform users with a clear optical signal and a loud 85 dB audible alarm - audible already at a distance of 1 m. The built-in self-monitoring system will check the correctness of the sensor's operation on an ongoing basis and, if necessary, will signal a malfunction. Independently, the user can test the device himself using the large TEST/RESET button, which also allows you to silence the alarm if necessary.

The FA3313 sensor is powered by two replaceable AA batteries that are included in the set. In the event of a low state of charge, the self-monitoring system will signal the need to replace them for 30 days, and after the 10-year lifespan, also the need to replace the entire device with a new one. The FireAngel FA3313 carbon monoxide detector has a 10-year warranty.

The FireAngel FA3313 sensor, as one of the few on the market, also meets the requirements of the latest Polish regulations on construction products, which is confirmed by the Building Mark B.
