Satel, DG-1 ME Gas sensor
DG-1 ME natural gas detector
The DG-1 ME is a microprocessor-based natural gas (methane) detector. Its installation is recommended in rooms exposed to its leakage, ie by heating appliances, cookers or cookers fueled by it (in boiler rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, etc.), as well as, for example, in the vicinity of gas connections and meters . Due to the nature of methane, which is lighter than air, the device should be mounted high, just below the ceiling of the supervised room. The digital gas detection algorithm and temperature compensation algorithm ensure correct operation of the detector in a wide range of ambient temperatures and high resistance to false alarms. The device detects if the dangerous concentration of methane in the room exceeds the 20% threshold of the so-called lower explosive limit, triggering an alarm (10% for prealarm). Thanks to the built-in buzzer and yellow LED, the DG-1 ME detector can function as an autonomous detection and signalling device, however it is also adapted for cooperation with an alarm system. Thanks to the self-diagnostics function, both the status of the supply voltage and the correctness of the gas sensor operation are monitored in real time, ensuring reliable detector operation.
