Intelligence to protect against false positives
We combined special optics with a software filter to detect false positives from motion sensors. Together with professional installation, this ensures high detection accuracy.

special lens
The layout of the Fresnel lens section is designed so that the infrared radiation diagrams of human, animal and thermal noise differ significantly. Large parts of the lens capture radiation at the level of the head and trunk of an adult human. Smaller elements make the diagram more detailed. MotionCam lenses provide the sensor with accurate information about the thermal object in the detection zone and the nature of its movement.

Professional installation
Installing the MotionCam in the right place, at the optimal height and perpendicular to the likely intrusion path, provides a clear thermal diagram. This significantly improves the detection accuracy. Professional installation also increases the effectiveness of the pet immunity function.

Thermal interference filter
The sensor constantly analyzes the thermal diagram from the sensor: the intensity of infrared radiation, the size of the heat spot, the speed of movement, the time spent in the detection zone and other parameters.

Ajax engineers analyzed thousands of cases of infrared sensor activation by humans, animals and thermal disturbances, and then developed SmartDetect. The software algorithm instantly and accurately identifies false positive markers. Thanks to this, the sensor reacts precisely to people and does not disturb the user with false alarms.

temperature compensation
Temperature compensation is a software mechanism that maintains the contrast of the thermal diagram even when the ambient temperature is close to human body temperature.

Each time the ambient temperature is measured, the sensor corrects the data from the PIR sensor according to the table of coefficients stored in the memory. The sensor is effective over the entire operating temperature range.

Sensitivity level
Thanks to the sensitivity setting, the sensor adapts to the conditions in a given room, taking into account possible thermal disturbances or the presence of pets. Changing the sensitivity setting affects the tags by which false positives are filtered.

With low sensitivity, the sensor is less likely to respond even to an active animal. With high sensitivity, the sensor triggers an alarm if any movement is detected in the detection zone.

Sensitivity can be controlled in the Ajax app both on site and remotely.

More than a photo. Faster than video.
MotionCam will show the real situation from the scene before the burglars realize that they have been caught. After the alarm signal, an animated series of photos is sent for accurate assessment of the situation. MotionCam can take pictures only in case of alarm. The sensor software architecture does not support photo-on-demand.

Less worries
Up to 70% of false alarms occur when disarming the alarm system. With MotionCam, system users and operators of monitoring companies can check in seconds if an alarm is real and react accordingly.

Greater security
Both the users of the system and the rapid response team in the event of an alarm need to be clear about what is happening on the scene. MotionCam will show how many intruders are armed and if they are still in the room. This will help prepare the security agency patrol and users - avoid danger.

Evidence in your smartphone
A series of animated photos provide law enforcement with descriptions of intruders without wasting time. Thanks to the infrared backlight MotionCam will perform them even in complete darkness. The chances of catching burglars red-handed increase.

Privacy as the top priority
MotionCam is designed for security control, not privacy. Photos are protected from prying eyes at the sensor, system and software level.

Unique wireless technologies
The MotionCam Jeweler sensor uses two radio protocols simultaneously: Jeweler for alarm notifications and Wings for photo transmission. Jeweler ensures immediate alarm delivery, and Wings delivers the first photo of the scene in just 9 seconds. Even with interruptions in communication and a weak signal. The communication range with the hub is up to 1700 meters, thanks to which the sensor can be easily installed where it will be most effective.

Intuitive installation and connection
Add a MotionCam sensor to your Ajax alarm system with just a few taps. Open the Ajax app, scan the QR code and assign the sensor to the room. There is no need to remove the sensor housing. The SmartBracket mounting bracket allows the sensor to be securely installed on a flat surface or in a corner.
