The Homematic IP window and door contact reliably detects open or closed windows and doors via an integrated infrared light barrier. The window and door contact is conveniently installed in the frame of plastic windows or doors using the supplied adhesive strips. When the window or door is closed, the device is not visible and is therefore particularly unobtrusive. During ventilation, the room temperature is automatically lowered in connection with the Homematic IP radiator thermostat. On request, e.g. In combination with the Homematic IP siren, for example, an alarm can be triggered as soon as a window or door is opened. Open windows and doors are displayed directly in the Homematic IP app - so the current status can be viewed at any time, even when you're on the go. The built-in sabotage contact informs via the app if the window and door contact is tampered with.
