The GARDENA smart Sensor Control Set watering control automatically controls the water supply in the garden and ensures that the plants are watered as needed. The watering times can be conveniently set from a smartphone or tablet using the GARDENA smart App, adjusted as desired and matched to the mowing times of a GARDENA smart SILENO as desired. The smart Sensor Control Set is perfect for automatic watering with the GARDENA Micro-Drip-System or the GARDENA Sprinklersystem. The smart Gateway takes care of the central networking. It can be placed unobtrusively in the living area and establishes an Internet connection via an existing router. As the heart of the smart system, it handles the wireless network communication between all GARDENA smart system devices in the garden and the smart app. Two integrated high-performance antennas ensure a stable and secure connection, even over long ranges. The set consists of the irrigation control smart Water Control, the smart sensor and the smart gateway, it can be expanded at any time with other products from the smart system. The new GARDENA smart sensor in a modern, flat design measures the soil temperature and determines the soil moisture exactly where it is important, namely at the roots. Thanks to the larger measuring range, it can also be placed in deeper areas of the lawn, in flower and vegetable beds, or even less deep in flower pots. As the central element of the GARDENA smart system, the smart sensor wirelessly transmits the current status data directly to the GARDENA smart Gateway. As soon as the sensor measurement shows that the soil is moist enough, the next scheduled watering is simply suspended. All smart products can be operated with the tap of a finger anywhere and anytime via the app. Since the flat sensor only protrudes 20 millimeters from the ground, it can remain in the lawn even when operating a GARDENA robotic lawnmower. Thanks to an integrated temperature sensor, the smart Water Control automatically sends a warning to the GARDENA smart App before it gets too cold. Then it is time to shut down the irrigation system and store the device in a frost-free place.
