The window and door contact optical plus (HmIP-SWDO-PL-2) from Homematic IP impresses with an extra long battery life and detects the opening or closing of windows and doors via an integrated infrared light barrier. The home is secured by window monitoring, while at the same time valuable energy is saved when ventilating by automatically lowering the room temperature. In connection with Homematic IP radiator thermostats, the room temperature is automatically lowered during ventilation. The reduced temperature can even be set individually. When the window is closed, the feel-good temperature is automatically restored. Opening or closing windows and doors is recognized immediately and displayed in the Homematic IP app. In combination with a Homematic IP alarm siren (e.g. HmIP-ASIR-2), your home becomes even more secure: a loud alarm is automatically triggered when a window or door is opened.
