Guaranteed alarm delivery and visual verification
To ensure reliable communication, we equipped the ReX 2 with four antennas and support for two proprietary radio protocols: Jeweller and Wings. Jeweller is used to transmit commands, events and alarms, while Wings provides batch transmission of images. Two-way Ajax radio communication uses frame synchronization in the device communication session, authentication to prevent fraud, and encryption to protect against data theft.

Flexibility is the key
With a communication range of 2,000 meters and the possibility of connecting five range doublers, the Hub 2 radio network can span several floors and separate buildings. In order to manage the access and security zones of the facility, the hub allows the connection of 50 users and the creation of 9 security groups. Control from the mobile application

The Ajax Cloud Server can notify you if the hub connection is lost within 60 seconds thanks to frequent polling. Even if the building is disconnected from the power supply, the hub will protect the building for up to 16 hours thanks to the built-in backup battery.

Hub 2 runs on OS Malevich, a real-time operating system developed by Ajax Systems. OS Malevich is stable, virus-resistant and protected against cyber attacks.
The Hub receives new functions several times a year via radio updates. The update process is automatic and takes several minutes to complete when the alarm system is disarmed. The hardware configuration will allow the Hub 2 to evolve and stay up-to-date for many years to come.

Hub 2 is ready to go right out of the box. All communication modules, power supply and backup battery are already installed.
