Levenhuk Skyline Travel Sun 50 Telescope is an optical tool of small size and weight, distinguished by high-quality optics. This universal model is also intended for simple observations of the planets of the solar system, objects on the Earth, the moon and the sun (only after installing a special filter). It enables observation of sunspots on the surface of the Sun. Extreme caution should be exercised when observing the Sun. Always check that the sun filter is correctly attached to the telescope tube. The filter must completely obstruct the aperture. It is forbidden to look at the Sun and the bright area of the sky around it through the setting telescope.

The lens is completely covered with a multi-layer anti-reflective coating to minimize light loss. The kit includes a high-quality diagonal prism. It does not distort the image and refracts the optical axis of the telescope, making it possible to conveniently observe circumstantial objects. The telescope has glasses with a magnification of 45 and 18 times and a diameter of 1.25. The set also includes a Barlow lens with a magnification of 3 times. The included accessories allow for a magnification of 135 times. The highest magnification that works well in practical applications is 100 times.

Levenhuk Skyline Travel Sun 50 Telescope is mounted on a small and reliable azimuth mount. It is very easy to use. Even a child will be able to fold this telescope. Another advantage of this assembly is its low weight. A convenient handle is used to move the telescope. The mount is attached to an aluminum tripod adjustable in height from 40 to 125 cm.

Observations can be started immediately after removing the telescope from the packaging: the kit contains all the necessary components. This optical instrument does not need to be set up. Thanks to its low weight and a comfortable backpack included in the set, the telescope can be easily taken on a trip or on a journey. There is enough space in the backpack to accommodate the telescope tube, mount, tripod and accessories.

It is forbidden to look directly at the sun without a special protective sun filter. Otherwise, you can permanently damage your eyesight, or even lead to its complete loss!
