The Homematic IP roller shutter actuator for brand switches enables convenient control of connected AC motors for roller shutters or awnings. In this way, electrically operated blinds can be raised or lowered automatically. The roller shutters or awnings are operated very conveniently via the rocker switch on the switch, via radio remote control or via the Homematic IP app. The roller shutter actuator is suitable for installation in a flush-mounted box for switches from a wide variety of manufacturers. The adapters for different switch series enable a cost-saving replacement of switches from common manufacturers with an intelligent Homematic IP installation. The installation effort is reduced to a minimum by using components from the existing or planned switch series and wiring. The design or colors and surfaces of switch series that have already been installed remain unchanged, as existing frames and rockers can continue to be used.
