Inspired by the vitality of urban men, perfumer Christine Nagel wanted to recreate the textures of fine materials such as cashmere, silk and velvet. The backbone of the composition is an aromatic, botanical and slightly woody note of nutmeg sage. Narcissus is an absolute, strong and stiff note, mixed with the essence of rosewood and synthetic sclaren molecules. This unusual note, which is rarely used in perfumes, came to Nagel after visiting Hermès tailors. It resembles warm and metallic steam and mimics the application of damp cloths to wool suits before they are pressed with heavy metal iron. The fragrance was launched in 2021.
